September and October

I titled it as such, just in case I go another month or so without updating.

All is going great for the Manchi and Meatball. I am full bore into the first grade and absolutely love it. I think my favorite classes are Art and Reading. I do so good at both. Every Friday I have a spelling test and on almost all of them I have gotten a 100%. Pretty cool huh? Also, I am joining the 4-H club in my after school program where I am going to learn about sewing and growing (plants). I figured these would be good as in my house, growing plants is not something my mommy and daddy are so good at. To not offend my mommy, I will not discuss why I have chosen sewing. (We talked about it privately and I think she was kinda upset...).

Abby is doing GREAT!!! Her teachers in Pre-K are really impressed with how fast she is learning and acclimating to her class. She is writing her name, making her shapes and absolutely loves story time. I think she is going to be a big time reader like me. She seems to have a ton of cool friends as over the last couple months we have done nothing but birthday parties. I am cool with that, but suffice to say our weekends have been Jam Factor RED!!!!

Let's see, what else? We started swim lessons and are progressing along nicely. We absolutely love the pool and can think of no better place to be. Matter of fact, mommy let us go in the pool at night yesterday after all of our chores were done. For that, she gets an "A" for the day.

Hmmm... we took the doors off the Jeep yesterday. As you know, I am not a huge fan of the jeep (lots and lots of wind), but mommy and Abby are just about crazy about it. I let them have their fun, because that is the type of girl I am.

Everything else is about the same. Dad is working on his school stuff and says that he is as busy as they get. I don't believe him and watching mom take care of us, clean the house, go to work, go to school, PT, church and everything else - I think dad should tread lightly on his claims. Regardless, we really miss him and love that we can see him on FaceTime every night.

So, that is about it. The Meatball and I are looking forward to a great week and even better, longer weekend.

Manchi out.

Here are some pictures from the last month or so. (at the end, I wanted to kick it old school and pull something from the archives.)

Me (Grace) getting ready for some brunch at Datz.

Abby (the Meatball) at her friends birthday party, she wanted to dress up as a bride.

I think some may have actually got inside Abby, I think....

Leaving Hyde Park

Me at the birthday party... I am a ballerina (but wanted to be a witch. Mommy wouldn't let me because it was too hot)

Leaving church

She seems to really like the camera.

I told you I love art

The Meatball is always smiling...

....and posing.

This was Christmas 2006 (I was 2 and Abby was just 4 months old)
