Random Pictures

Here are some pictures from the last month or so.

As you can imagine, life has been really busy for me and Abby.  Between school, church, AWANA, mom's work, homework, dad being out of town, playtime, sleeping, the occasional shower, eating, watching movies, going to the gym, Christmas shopping, eating some more, hanging out with the babysitter.....well, we just got a pretty full life.  Despite the chaos, we are both doing GREAT!!!!  Mom said that we have been SOOOOOO good lately that she is going to take us to the movies on Friday night.  Can you say Tangled???

We are pretty excited about Christmas.  Not only are we on the fast track to getting some cool presents from you know who, but we are also going to see our friends Heath, Olivia and Kennedy.  As well, rumor has it that we are going to see our Grandma and Grandpa.  Mix that up with an awesome meal made by the most awesome chef (mommy) and you could not ask for anything more.  Suffice to say that the Manchi and Meatball are way pumped up over the next couple weeks.

Oh yeah, me, Abby and Daddy put up the Christmas tree this year.  I must say that Abby and I are much better at decorating than the adults are.  I think we have a more understanding eye.

Okay, 'nuff typing for me.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas this year.  Abby says hi.

The morning after my new haircut

I enjoy that I don't have to wear an uniform.... yet!!!

One of my many poses

She is actually trying to pick me up!!!!

Just after mommy and daddy installed really nice side steps... we get this stool.

Never has someone looked so fashionable getting into a jeep

I love going to the park

Sisters... forever

Sitting normal was not an option

Isn't it beautiful?

Chillin'

My new haircut

Not sure what we are so happy about.. maybe we are at a cool restaurant

I am going to go with...monkey

In case you were wondering, I give the Doritos - a full, orange, thumbs up!!

A bit concerned about the whole gang sign issue here...

Just before my haircut...

The water was freezing!!!

Mom, does this jeep make my hair look shorter?

Mom, so... why is the top on the jeep? You know I like it off!!!

My new haircut, I love it!!!

Getting ready for bed

Ain't no thing but a chicken wing (the dentist said she thinks she found one in my mouth!!)

I am told that I do a really good job brushing and flossing.  No princess teeth for me.

Oh yeah, going to the gym.  Gunna get my exercise on... oh yeah

Those boys don't know what is about to hit them when I start my shred in the gym.

Date night with mommy (she is pigging out on sushi)

A romantic evening at home

Wish you were here dad

Sometimes I find the firmness of the top of the stairs more comfortable than my bed.

After a bit of rough housing with Grace (she lost)

Abby wore me out (and her head hitting my mouth was not so pleasant either)

A quick snack for the power shoppers

Pretty much the best meal EVER!!!

Happy Halloween

To our surprise, this year's Halloween was a first for this family.  While Abby and I normally dress up for the holiday, mom and dad normally opt out.  This year though, everything changed.  Dad came home from school and we all got dolled up for a party on Friday night only to find out that we were not able to go to the party.  So, instead we went to CiCi's Pizza and showed off our costumes to the three other people that were eating there.  Then on Saturday we got all dressed up again and went to a party at the YMCA.  For the most part, the pictures below are from that party.  I also found out dad took a video of me "dancing."

Unfortunately, dad had to go back to his school before we were all able to go trick or treating.  That did not stop the meatball and I from scoring some serious loot.  Mom had a great idea to head to a nearby neighborhood where the homes were simply amazing!!!!  Our thinking was - the bigger the home, the bigger the score.  I think we won.

Everything else is going good.  We are excited about dad coming home for Thanksgiving.  Until then, we will stay pretty busy with school, AWANA, swimming and getting under mommy's feet.  We finished the last swim lesson last week and are starting in a new group next week.  Abby has gotten really good at swimming and the instructor suggested to mommy that I join a swim team.  I think I may get my shot early next year.  Wish me luck.

Okay, that is it for now.  Abby says hi!!

First Grade Photo

I am having a really difficult time typing today so I will keep it short.  Bottom line, another picture of me.  This time it is my First Grade photo.  Mom and dad seemed pretty excited to see it so I thought I might as well post to the blog.   You know, for the 2 of you that read it.  Hope you both are having a great day.  Back to school for me.

(Abby should have her school picture done next week)

AWANA Vests

Abby and I recently joined AWANA.  We got these vests after memorizing some bible verses.  We are rather proud of them.  We are mostly very thankful to our mommy for making sure we go.  You have to understand that with as busy as things are around here, the two hours on a Wednesday night is a big deal.  Normally we are in bed by eight o'clock, but when we go to AWANA, it is closer to nine.  Thank you mommy for letting us do this.

***UPDATE***
We earned our first patch a couple weeks ago.  Big deal, if you ask us!!!

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure

It has become quite clear that daddy has a bit more time on his hands than normal.  I was for certain that he was supposed to be working on a paper and big project for Wednesday, but behold, another silly video.  This time, he found some pictures from way back when I did not write as well as I do now.  So what better way to embarrass me?  Anyway, he asked if I would post this.  I think he is also trying to guilt me in to updating the blog more than we have in the past.  Ughh... he has to know that there are better things to do, like swim in the pool and watch movies.

Whatever, here is another video dad put together.  He needs to get a life.

Wonderful Girls

Daddy is messing around with pictures on the computer and asked if I would post this.  It is not super great, but it has me in it - so, well.... it is actually AWESOME!!!

Hope all is well.  Grace and I are doing really good.  Mom got off work really early today so we came home earlier than normal.  Mom grilled some burgers and we watched a movie (Scooby Doo).  There was a scary part and I did not get scared at all.  Pretty much the bravest person I know.

Not sure if I mentioned this already, but the Manchi and I are in AWANA and got our vests on Wednesday.  We had to memorize some verses from the bible.  Not really all that hard if you ask me.  Every week we have to memorize a new verse.  Wish us luck.

This weekend is going to be pretty chill.  Swim lessons tomorrow, church on Sunday and possibly going to the beach on Monday.  In all three we will drive in the jeep.  For that I am most excited.  Grace just frowned when I reminded her.  Oh well.

Well, that is it.

Daddy's friends got baptised

Hi again, Abby here.  I know this video is not about me or my sister, but it is something pretty important.  My dad has a friend where he is at right now that has two sons (Stephen and Justin). Well, they recently decided to act in obedience to what the bible says about baptism and got it done last week. What is probably not super clear in this video is that it was really, really, really cold where they were at and Stephen and Justin still went through with it.  I think that was very brave of them on several accounts.  So, I asked daddy if I could post this to show how awesome they are.

Abby and the Umbrella / Getting ready for Hawaii

Daddy found this when he was cleaning up the computer.  I asked him if I could post it.

I am really not sure what I was doing, but me and the umbrella seemed to be having a good time.  Grace is eating her dinner (like I was supposed to be) and did not see the brilliance of my acting.

In the second video, Grace and I explain show our preparation for our pending move to Hawaii next year.

Terrific Kid Award

Hi Everyone!!!

Just wanted to brag on myself for just one minute.  I was selected as the Terrific Kid of the Month at my school!!!  Pretty cool huh.  I thought so.  Got to get an award and a sticker (for the jeep) and got to be on tv at my school.  Mommy came to watch and, well, I am pretty happy.

Okay, that is it.  Abby says hi.
