Happy Halloween

To our surprise, this year's Halloween was a first for this family.  While Abby and I normally dress up for the holiday, mom and dad normally opt out.  This year though, everything changed.  Dad came home from school and we all got dolled up for a party on Friday night only to find out that we were not able to go to the party.  So, instead we went to CiCi's Pizza and showed off our costumes to the three other people that were eating there.  Then on Saturday we got all dressed up again and went to a party at the YMCA.  For the most part, the pictures below are from that party.  I also found out dad took a video of me "dancing."

Unfortunately, dad had to go back to his school before we were all able to go trick or treating.  That did not stop the meatball and I from scoring some serious loot.  Mom had a great idea to head to a nearby neighborhood where the homes were simply amazing!!!!  Our thinking was - the bigger the home, the bigger the score.  I think we won.

Everything else is going good.  We are excited about dad coming home for Thanksgiving.  Until then, we will stay pretty busy with school, AWANA, swimming and getting under mommy's feet.  We finished the last swim lesson last week and are starting in a new group next week.  Abby has gotten really good at swimming and the instructor suggested to mommy that I join a swim team.  I think I may get my shot early next year.  Wish me luck.

Okay, that is it for now.  Abby says hi!!
