Wonderful Weekend

Well, another weekend done and boy what a great weekend. Get this, I had a surprise visit by my friends Olivia and Heath. It was great. It is not very often that I get to have my friends come over and we all play on my big soft blanket. Olivia is so cool, she lets me play with all the toys I want to and she just watches and laughs at me. We are almost the same size so when we wrastle, I have my work cut out for me. Sometimes I let her win. Heath on the other hand, well his is so big. The last time I saw him it was kinda hard to understand what he was saying, but now he is talking so well. I like hanging out with him, he is like a big brother.

Okay, this is milestone weekend if there ever was. You will never guess what I did today!! So save the suspense, I will tell you. I went to the movies for the very first time ever and it was SOOOO COOL!! It was the neatest movie and easliy my favorite so far. You know what I saw? Yup, Pooh's Movie: Heffalump!!! I sat so well (for most of it) and thought the big screen was dynomite!!! It was a neat story too. I think Roo is such a cool charactor and as I watch the Academy Awards tonight, he easily deserves Best Actor, hands down. I can not wait until I get to go see another movie.

Okay, what else happened? Well I am glad you asked. Today, I took my very first guitar lesson. There is a picture below proving it. I think I pretty much got the hang of it cause I already sound better than my daddy. The only thing I have a hard time doing is holding the thing. It is so big. Dad and I make a pretty good team until I can hold it.

Well, mommy has a couple more days of "the Club" on her arm. I don't think it really hurts her anymore, but I know it is getting on her nerves. Hopefully the doc doesn't find out she didn't take it easy like he told her. Oh well.

Not much else going on. Tomorrow I go to the doctor for my six month check-up. I am not looking forward to the shots. As far as growing I am doing well. I am now eating squash after giving green beans and carrots a shot. All have been pretty good so far. I am sitting up better and better. I really want to crawl and move in the forward direction, and while it seems to be taking its time, I think it is going to happen soon. Other than that, I am great.

Goodnight everyone. Sweet dreams.

Gracie

That's me in the middle of Olivia and Heath.

That is me and mommy just before bedtime. Notice mommy's club.

Alright folks, that is it for now. Goodnight.!!

St. Augustine, FL.

Here are a couple pics I forgot in the last post. This is on the steps of the church where mommy and daddy got married. The other pic is cool as it shows the name of the church.

Love,
Gracie

This is Mommy, Daddy and me at the church where they got married.

Notice the name of the church?

Whats a Gargoyle cyst?

Gracie here,

Whoa, I had one heck of a day, rather week!!! Not that I am one to brag, but I should tell you that I have been nothing more than an angel for several days now. Where do I start? On Saturday, mommy, daddy and I went to St. Augustine where they were married. We went through the old part of town and did some shopping and eating. We went to this really cool place called the Columbia where mommy and daddy had there perception dinner after they got married. It was really good. I had something called THE BOPPY, which I highly recommend. After that, we went to Jacksonville where I got to play with my friend Kennedy. That's me and mommy at their house in the picture below. Kennedy was also being visited by my other friend Olivia. All three of us played way past my bedtime!! I thought that was cool. Olivia and Kennedy are getting so big. But I have to tell you something, there is one of us that is louder than all the others and it is not me or Olivia. Kennedy is so loud, one day I hope to be that loud. Oh yeah, I teached Kennedy how to roll onto her tummy like me. Way cool.

On Sunday, we skipped church (cause mommy and daddy stayed out till 2am on a date) and went to dinner with Kennedy and her parents. It was really tasty, I bet you will never guess what I had. That's right, and I had carrots too (yummy). We also visited my grandma, grandpa, great-grandma, aunt, uncle and three cousins that day too. I tell you what, I was a social baby those two days. Oh yeah, did I tell you I was an angel too. Yup, I hardly ever cried.

On Monday, I got to stay home from school cause it was President Bush Day. Daddy tried to fix something and broke it more, mommy went running and I played on this new blanket I got from a friend of daddy's. It is very soft. Mommy and I went shopping later and I was....yup, an angel.

Tuesday was a school day, but a really cool school day. Mommy and daddy came to visit me for a long time. We played outside and I showed them all the cool stuff in my classroom. They were so excited. I was a little embarrassed cause they kept kissing me in front of my friends.

And today, well today was huge. You see my mommy has had this gargoylian cyst thingies for a few years that she has actually named "Bump and Hole". Well, today was the day to say goodbye to "Bump and Hole". Her and daddy went to the hospital and had Dr. Edwards cut it out. I will spare you the details just in case you are having boppy while reading about my day. Anyway, she has this funny thing on her arm that makes it hard for her to hold me right now. The doctor gave her some Vicodin, so she has been feeling pretty loopy all day. Speaking of all day, we were gone almost ALL DAY!!! And you know what, yeah...I was an angel. We went shopping and eating and driving and the whole time I was laughing and laughing and grabbing a little shut eye when my parents weren't looking. It was cool.

So, now I am ready to wind down. I just had my boppy and I am ready for bed. All I need now is for someone to put me there. Tomorrow, mommy and daddy are both home with me so I expect to do quite a bit of laughing. I am really hoping daddy rubs his head on my tummy, that really cracks me up.

So until the next time, remember, always respect the boppy.

Gracie

If I can not have my own sparklies, then I am going to take yours!!! Munchi Power!!!

Looks like a duck, sounds like a duck...Must be a Gracie!!!

TGIF (This Gracie is Fabulous!!!)

Gracie here,

Today was a great Friday. Daddy and I hung out all day long and it was so much fun. With getting well after being sick, I had stored up so many laughs. Daddy and I wrastled around and he tickled me and smoochied me all the time. We went to a couple stores, including Circuit City where I saw daddy writing some things down on what he called a Wish List. Oh yeah, we also went to Walmart where I was the center of attention. Daddy was holding me and people kept wanting to grab my cheeks. Hey, what can I do... I am simply too cute.

Well, not much else to report today. I attached a couple pictures I thought were cool. The first one is of me taking a nap. I have become quite fond of falling asleep under my bouncer. I am not sure why, but it makes me happy. The other picture is of me practicing my Peek-a-boo routine. I wish you could have been there to see me roll myself up in the blanket and then roll out.

I have to give a shout out to Owen in Washington. He just turned one a couple days ago and his parents are friends of my daddy's. Owen, I will take your advice concerning the whole walking and shoes thing.

So, until next time - I hope you have a great weekend. Mommy, daddy and I have big plans I will tell you all about later.

Gracie

A baby has to sleep where a baby has to sleep.

I was practicing my Peek-a-boo routine.

A Word Is Worth A Thousand Pictures!!!

Gracie here... I am going to write you with pictures today...You remember me being sick...

Well, I just wanted to show you my face and that I am clear of boogers. I also wanted to show you that I am adorable.

See I proved it.. I am adorable. Anyway, things are going really well these days...

On Monday and Tuesday, daddy and I hung out all day long. We played and ate and he tickled me all the time. This is what I look like when he is tickling me.

I think daddy is doing something really goofy here, you can tell cause I am still laughing..

Here you can see that I am getting some PT done. I think I am up to 1/4 of a push up.

Ahh, who am I kidding, I can't do push-ups, but I can turn myself around in circles...

And I can do this funny exercise (sorry, I forgot to turn the picture)...

But when I am done, I need some rest. You know what I am talking about...

So this is me at one of my favorite times of the day... Baffy time. Mommy does my baffy most of the time. Maybe that is why I love it so much.

Roses are red, violets are blue, look behind my head, those flowers are for you...actually those are to my mommy from daddy for Balentines day...

Okay, now this is the real story... I am finally sitting up by myself. Mind you, I am getting some help to get into this position, but once there I am golden....

It makes me very happy that I can do this. And notice how close I am to my piggies.... Wahooooooo!!!

Okay, I just put this in here cause I am so darn cute....

Here I am working on the whole standing thing. While fun, grabbing my daddy's hair is more fun....

See... even he is having fun.

Okay people.. from here on out I am to be referred to as the Queen of Gracieland...hey baby....

DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME??? I am cool and there is no denying it.

So that is my story in pictures. I hope you enjoyed it. I am sorry that I have been so long in writing. Since being sick, I find that sleeping and snotting is taking up most of my time. But now that I am well, I should be online more often. Speaking of being online...you have got to check out this silly guy on the Internet. (click "watch this movie". He totally cracked me and my daddy up the other day.

Alright then. I have to go to bed. Tomorrow, daddy and I are going to hang out. Not sure what the plan is, but I can assure you it will involve the boppy. Take care everyone..

Upon Inspection, it's an Ear Infection!!!

Hi Guys,

I am not feeling very well today, so I should keep this pretty short. Everything was going pretty well until last night when I noticed I was coughing and sneezing more than normal. I thought it was probably due to the fact that daddy refuses to spend money on heat and keeps the house an icebox (actually, my room is pretty warm). Anyway, I woke up this morning and felt so bad. I had a hard time mustering a smile for mommy, as I always do. My nose is so runny and my eyes were puffy. It was pitiful. Mommy took my temperature and it read 101 degrees. Needless to say, I was on my way to the doctor. The doc looked at me and said, on top of being the most adorable baby in the world, I had an ear infection. Bummer!!! She gave me some medicine and homeward bound mommy and I were.

Once we got home, I just started to feel worse and worse. I kept trying to sleep, but couldn't. I wanted to cry, but that was bothering me. I wanted to lay on my mommy, but all this stuff coming out of my nose was frustrating me. I tried to eat, but even that was no fun. Oh yeah, on top of all this, mommy gave me carrots for the first time today. Talk about trauma squared.

The coolest part of the day, was when daddy came home from work early. He held me alot, just like mommy did and that made me happy.

So now I am getting ready for bed and the most traumatic thing has just happened to me. You see, we have three thermometers that mommy and daddy use to check under my arm for a fever. None of them were reading the same thing. The most I had on one of them was 102, pretty high, huh? So what did they do? Yup you guessed it, they jammed that thermometer thingy up my butt. Whaooooooooooo!!!!! Whose bright idea was this? All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Well, I have to go to bed. I hope I am able to sleep through the night. Wish me luck.

Gracie

I don't feel so well

I am doing the bestest I can to keep my eyes open

This is better, mommy does a great job of helping me feel better.

Being me is so much fun!!!

Hello everyone, Gracie here and boy am I happy. I am not really sure what has gotten into me, but for some time now, I have been nothing but giggles. I am even getting comments from my teachers on all of the smiling I have been doing.

Today was a great day. I went to school and played with my friends. The weather was prime for a buggie ride in the park. The buggie rides have not been the same since Christopher left, but I manage to enjoy them anyway. Today, I wore one of my fravorite outfits, it really is slimming. I managed to stay in it all day to, keeping the drool and poop far away.

Mommy came to pick me up just a little early today, which was A-Okay by me. We had a quick ride home because the traffic was very light. I really didn't care cause I can't even see it anyway. Mommy and I went to Target and Walmart on the way home and can you believe it, I was really good. Now don't get me wrong, I am always good, but when we go to stores, I sometimes am so outraged by the high prices that I want to cry. And when I see that my mommy and daddy are buying things at those prices, well I go into freak out mode. I hope I have more shopping saviness when I am older than they seem to display. (don't tell them I said that).

Speaking of saying bad things about my parents. I learned from mommy and daddy's bible study tonight that I am suppose to honor them. Well, I will not argue with God, but those two... that is like asking the impossible. Okay, I am just kidding. Daddy was great when I got home, he played with me and made me laugh even more. He does this thing, which I find simply awesome. He rubs his head on my tummy and makes funny sounds. What I really like is that I am putting my slobbery hands all in his hair and he has no idea. I am so funny.

Anyway, sorry about not writing in the last couple days. I really do not have a good excuse. I will say that I was very sad to hear about that baby my age in Texas who was beaten very badly by her parents. We are not sure if she is going to live. Please say a little prayer for her and he 15 month old sister when you get a chance.

Okay, I have to go to bed now. I am wearing another fabulous outfit that I will show you later. I hope I dream of you and until the next time, mommy, daddy and I send all of our loves to all of you.

Goodnight,
The Munchie

Oh yeah... a little progress report.
-I still have the two teeth in the front and I think a couple more are on their way.
-I am really starting to figure my legs out and am moving a little better, but still mostly in circles.
-I still do not eat food all that well, but why would I when I have a boppy at my beckon call.
-I am learing new sounds every day and am practicing them often. My favorite is the "jolly laugh".
-Oh yeah, last but certainly not least. I am pooping much more regularly. Now if I can only watch t.v. when i am doing it like my daddy does now, life would be great!!!

Okay, this is for real the end.

Gracie

Look what I learnt how to do!!

I am about to drop a bomb

Can you see it?

Yeah, that's me... droppin da bomb!!

Snoopy Bowl Sunday!!

Salutations folks,

Gracie here, and boy what a weekend. Sorry it has been another couple days since I last wrote you, but I have been very busy. Do you remember me telling you that my Grandpa and Uncle were in town, well, they left on Friday and I was a little sad. They are really cool and it was nice having them visit. Now they are back in the really cold weather up in New England. Sorry guys :o(

Speaking of New England, Daddy and I are watching the Snoopy Bowl. Wow!!! I think it is amazing. Daddy was saying it is happening in the city he used to live in. I guess thats cool, but I am just waiting for the halftime show. These days, who knows what is going to happen. Chances are this year will not net the same publicity as that Beatles guy having a "wardrobe malfunction" will be more gross than bad. Anyway, I am rooting for the winner. GO WINNER!!

This weekend was pretty cool. Mommy, daddy and I did a ton of driving and shopping. We looked at doors, tile, sinks, counters, trees and a whole bunch of other stuff. Believe it or not, I was really good the whole time. I seemed to have the giggle bug all weekend long and I thought it was cool. It was only when daddy and mommy tried to have dinner with some friends tonight that I started to get a little fussy. Not to make excuses, but I think I have another tooth trying to come in. When mommy gave me some ice in a napkin, I thought that was pure delightful. All in all though, I think I was plain pleasant to be around this weekend.

Tomorrow I am headed off to school for some relaxing after this wild weekend. My parents have to learn how to take it easy. Oh yeah... did you see the previews for the new Pooh movie, Huffalump? I can not wait to see it, it looks so cool.

Okay, I am going to try to convince daddy to let me stay up and watch the Snoopy Bowl even though I have to get some sleep. Wish me luck.

Gracie

I love watching the Snoopy Bowl!!!

Hello everybody....I am naked!!!

Goodbye My Friend , Goodbye!

Ok guys, sorry it's been a few days since I've been online. It's been high OPTEMPO at our house with so many visitors. Today was a rough one for me. I don't think I'll ever get over this one. Ok, here it goes...guys, Christopher is gone. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! (for a visual on this, please see below). Today was Christopher's last day at school. He is moving 10,000 miles away to Orlando (well, that is, 10,000 miles in baby steps). I never had a crush on Christopher like my Daddy says, but he was my buddy. We were like two peas in a pod. My Mommy says we laugh the same, we smile the same, and we would both ride shotgun in the buggy stroller at school together (I think he tried to hold my hand once, but I told him I am a lady and I'm not that kind of girl - he respected that). I'm going to need a lot of boppy to help me get my mind off this one. In fact, I might have to drown my sorrows in some ice cream - my fravorite is one you all have probably heard of - "Ben and Boppy's - Boppy Garcia".

The picture below the one where I had an episode over Christopher is living, breathing proof of my two new friends - my teethies (Look closely you might miss them... Oh, you missed them, look closer... No closer... There you go, you see, those puppies are huge!

Well, it's time for me to go and hit the rack guys. I'll dream of you, Christopher, and Boppy Plum Fairies.

Mommy, what will I ever do without Christopher?!

If you look very closely at my bottom gum...
