DADDY IS HOME!!!!!!!

Well guys, it was a long time in the making, but my daddy is finally home!!! I was so excited when I saw him at my school when he picked me up last week that I ran as fast as I could to him. It was so cool. We hugged foe a real long time and smoochied a bunch too. I told him all about my day and he seemed real proud of me. He kept saying that I had grown up a whole bunch and that I was prettier than ever. I am not sure about that, but if daddy says so!!!

What was really cool about him coming home was that I got a couple days off of school. Daddy and I played all the time and I had a whole lot of fun. We went to the museum and had a blast playing on the toys. My favorite was the truck. We also went for walks and watered the flowers. I love to water the flowers cause I have a water thingy that is pink. I think pink is my new favorite color!!

Back to daddy being so proud of me. When he went to "work" five months ago I was only 18 months old and I was not doing some of the things I am doing now. For instance, I am pretty good at talking and getting mommy and daddy to understand me. I can tell a whole bunch of things I see when we are going for a drive and even tell them the color. I can read books with mommy and daddy and tell them all the stuff I see. I can eat at the table nicely and only make a little mess (although it is more fun to make a big mess). I can hold mommy and daddy's hand before each meal and pray (and I always say "amen"). I have almost learned to put on my own pants (or maybe that was just a fluke??). Just today, I held my friends hand at school and we danced (but I won't tell you about the tumble I took at the end). Running and walking are clearly no problem and they really haven't been for some time, but I most prefer to walk where ever I go rather than sit in the stroller. For the most part, I tend to behave when mommy and daddy let me, cause I know they will put me in the cart or stroller if I don't. Not to sound to proud, but I am rather well behaved. I understand when mommy and daddy are serious and I tend to respond

Okay, enough about me. Did you see the pictures of me below??? I know they are kinda random, but in all honesty, the parents have been a little slack in the picture taking department. This weekend we have a bunch of stuff planned so I will make sure they are on the ball.

So with that, I need to get some sleep so I am fully energized. I hope you all have a great Fourth of July weekend and I look forward to telling you all about mine.

Goodnight,
Gracie.

I am such a little girl. I think I am waiting on dad to take me to the museum

This is the one thing in the museum that I could not get enough of. In this picture, I am asking daddy to come sit next to me.

In this picture, you can see what my new fascination is!!! Between this and playing with the radio, I am in heaven.

Now if I could just get the flash to not be so bright.... Ah the life of a photographer

I think I will go to my roots and beat on the drum for a while.

Hangin' with the ladies this weekend

Hello everybody! 'Twas a good weekend for me! I had my swim lesson, which I love. I saw the movie "Cars" (or at least I was willing to sit through 2/3's of it) and I hung out with the family. I loved it. Oh and we topped off the weekend with Spaghetti Night - My absolute favorite!

Hangin' out with Granny and Alex after a long nap. BTW, check out my new jammies!

Cool Weekend

Well, an exciting weekend for me and Mommy. My first haircut, two trips to the pool, and as for Mommy and Alex, well they got to go and see Rascal Flatts in concert. Check out these pics.

Awwhhh, what the hec! Let's chop this Billy Ray Cyrus do!

Anxiously awaiting my appointment in the waiting area (and what a cool waiting area it was - Trainsets and "Finding Nemo" playing in the background)

Ok, here I am. At least they gave me a set of wheels to cruise around in while I get my haircut

Wow, and they're going to play "Cinderella" for me too while I get my haircut. This place is top knotch!

Ahh, ok, what are you doing lady?!

Ok, maybe this isn't so bad. Actually, I'm lookin' pretty good with this new style

And Voila!

Getting Ready for My First Haircut

Well, for some reason the pictures got out of order. Sorry guys! These two photos should be at the beginning of the "Cool Weekend" entry. It will make more sense then.
