New surprise for Gracie!

Mommy got me my first street chalk this weekend, it was so cool (although Mommy wouldn't let me draw on the neighbors' driveways - what's up with that!). I did get to draw on ours though and it is a masterpiece.

Ahh, Mommy, what am I supposed to do with this?

Am I supposed to run with it???

Oh storytime my favorite! (And no wisecracks about my hair, Daddy!)

I love it when Mommy and Granny read me books

This was spaghetti night, can't you tell (Mmmmm, mmmmm!)

Fabulous Saturday

Daddy, there are two blogs today, so don't stop scrolling down when this one is done. Today was a fun day for Manchi. Fingerpainting, playing at the park and a wagon ride to top it off! I haven't painted with Mommy in a long time so this was a real treat! I got to get very messy and I did not want to stop painting! I did some beautiful artwork though, check it out for yourself...

I love to paint

It's so squashy between my fingers!

Check out my cool digs from Panama (Olivia got them for me)

What a beautiful day for a wagon ride

Faster Mommy, faster!

More pics of my fabulous Saturday

Some pics of me at the park with Mommy and some more shots of me painting. I think these paintings could easily qualify as Masterpieces (Monet - you ain't got nothin' on these)!

Chillin' at the park

Check out my new shades

I love to play ball!

Look Mom, I can do a handstand

This smile is for Daddy!

Alright, time to fingerpaint!

This is kind of cool

Wait, no, this is really cool!

Birthday Weekend!

Wheeww! What a weekend. Action packed I tell ya'. Lots of fun and lots of cleaning! Friday night Mommy came home to find Granny planting some plants in the garden up in front of the house (Granny was surprising Mommy for her birthday). It was very nice and very beautiful (see below).

Saturday (Mommy's birthday). Very action packed. Cleaning in the morning (for me, lots of playing outside with Granny). Then we zoomed off to the Strawberry Festival - good times. I saw moo-cows, rides I couldn't go on, had strawberry shortcake/strawberry lemonade/big hot dog, and did some serious walking. I also got a cool new stool that my puzzle slides into (I will show a picture of it in the next blog entry). Then we came home and it was more cleaning, grocery shopping and Granny and Aunt Alex washed and waxed the cars (Mommy thought that was very nice of them). Then we did something wonderful - we got Sonny Real-Pit BBQ take-out - Ohhh yeahhh! Lovin' it! Although, Daddy, you have to tell Mommy she can't drink anymore sweet tea at nighttime (it keeps her up until the wee hours of the morning - and I'm not sleeping in any later than the crack of dawn just so I can accomodate someone else's sleeping schedule or lack thereof!).

The rest of the weekend was more washin' the cars, cleaning and lots of playtime with Aunt Alex! I love to play with my Aunt Alex. Sometimes I just like to hang out with her in her room and try on her fabulous necklaces. Oh and I got a new Veggie tale at Wal-Mart this weekend to add to my collection.

Mommy, can I please watch a Veggie Tale?

Oh, thanks Mommy, I love to watch Lord of the Bean

Mommy and me at the Strawberry Festival on Mommy's Birthday!

Granny and Aunt Alex. Don't they look so fabulous!

My first taste of strawberry lemonade - Mmmmm, delicious!

Aunt Alex has her first fried candybar (sounds gross if you ask me!)

Hey, Daddy, check out this surprise that Grandma gave Mommy for her birthday - some new plants in the garden...

Well, I bet you want a closer look at they garden, ehh? Ohh, ok, I'll show ya' (and yes that is me running around outside Sunday a.m. with nothing but my jammy top and diaper on - "I want to break free! I want to break free-ee-ee!")

Voila! Close-up #1

And close-up #2

Close-up #3

And close-up #4!

The Girl with the Bows has a Busy Weekend (Again!!!)

Well, guys, I am going to keep this very short. I am very sleepy tonight with the busy weekend my Mommy and I have had. Today was a busy day in the nursery at church for me and Mommy (I had to compete for Mommy's attention from three other babies! No fair!) Luckily, Granny came and helped Mommy out. Then we had some natpime and made a trip to the Fresh Market (my Mommy and Daddy love that store). Hope you enjoy the pics Daddy (especially the one with my cool shades on).

Check out all my bows!

Here, more bows!

I'm stylin' while cruisin' around with my girls!

I think I see an airplane?!

Don't you see it Mommy?

Storytime with Aunt Alex!

I don't know it yet, but My Mommy is about to announce some terrible news (it's sleepy time. No!!!!)
