Saturday (Mommy's birthday). Very action packed. Cleaning in the morning (for me, lots of playing outside with Granny). Then we zoomed off to the Strawberry Festival - good times. I saw moo-cows, rides I couldn't go on, had strawberry shortcake/strawberry lemonade/big hot dog, and did some serious walking. I also got a cool new stool that my puzzle slides into (I will show a picture of it in the next blog entry). Then we came home and it was more cleaning, grocery shopping and Granny and Aunt Alex washed and waxed the cars (Mommy thought that was very nice of them). Then we did something wonderful - we got Sonny Real-Pit BBQ take-out - Ohhh yeahhh! Lovin' it! Although, Daddy, you have to tell Mommy she can't drink anymore sweet tea at nighttime (it keeps her up until the wee hours of the morning - and I'm not sleeping in any later than the crack of dawn just so I can accomodate someone else's sleeping schedule or lack thereof!).
The rest of the weekend was more washin' the cars, cleaning and lots of playtime with Aunt Alex! I love to play with my Aunt Alex. Sometimes I just like to hang out with her in her room and try on her fabulous necklaces. Oh and I got a new Veggie tale at Wal-Mart this weekend to add to my collection.

Mommy, can I please watch a Veggie Tale?

Oh, thanks Mommy, I love to watch Lord of the Bean

Mommy and me at the Strawberry Festival on Mommy's Birthday!

Granny and Aunt Alex. Don't they look so fabulous!

My first taste of strawberry lemonade - Mmmmm, delicious!

Aunt Alex has her first fried candybar (sounds gross if you ask me!)

Hey, Daddy, check out this surprise that Grandma gave Mommy for her birthday - some new plants in the garden...

Well, I bet you want a closer look at they garden, ehh? Ohh, ok, I'll show ya' (and yes that is me running around outside Sunday a.m. with nothing but my jammy top and diaper on - "I want to break free! I want to break free-ee-ee!")

Voila! Close-up #1

Oh Gracie,
Thank you for helping make mommy's birthday very special. I think the flowers that you helped Granny plant are very beautiful.
It also looks like you had a fantabulous time at the Strawberry Festival. I wish I could have been there with you. I would have had some strawberry lemonade too.
Well, daddy has to get back to work. I miss you very much Gracie, and I miss your mommy a whole bunch too.
Daddy
Happy Belated Birthday, Vanessa. :)
