The Princesses

Hello everyone,

I know it has been a long time since you have heard from me, and for that I am sorry. For whatever reason things have really been busy for me. I have to be honest with you, being a big sister is no easy chore. There are so many things that I am resonsible for teaching that time simply goes by too quickly.

I am doing great. I have celebrated my third birthday (a couple times - and I am not complaining) and with that I have moved into a new class at school. Words can not describe how much I like my new class. For starters, there are tons of kids my age in there. That is so cool. And my friend from a long time ago is there too, way awesome. Also, there are lots of cool things for me to do and as I am one of the youngest in there, they can be quite challenging. As well, and I can't believe how cool this is, there is show and tell. So far I have taken my Cinderella Princess Barbie and something that was on my birthday cake. It was very cool and I can not wait until the next one. I am not sure what I am going to bring, but maybe they will let me bring my sister, Abby one day.

Speaking of Abby - WOW!!! Well it is official, she is a full on walker. She lets nothing get in her way and is all over the place. I love it.. mostly cause we can get in all sorts of trouble, I mean help mommy out. Actually, we are not being all that bad, given the fact we are three and one. Abby is also in a new class and absolutley loves it. She gets to do all sorts of climbing on slides and steps. Her favorite thing about the new class is the "water station." Talk about a MESS!!! Her teachers say she would spend the entire day at that one spot if they let her. She also likes the little couch in the room. One time, mommy and I went to get her at the end of the day and she was just sitting on the couch chillin'. She was so adorable.

All else is well. I got to go to Boston Market the other night and was so excited at the idea that when mommy asked if I remembered it (it has been a while) I shouted for all to hear "I love it." Mommy cracked up. Abby apparently likes it too... she managed to make sure the entire floor was covered in corn. Oh well.

Okay, well I should go for now, lots to do and the house is too clean. Have to do something about that.

Gracie and Abby

Oh, below are some pictures that I thought were pretty cool. I have talked to mommy and daddy about the drop in picture taking and the possible implications it could have on my little sister in years to come. They have accepted my criticism and promised to kick it up a notch. We will see.

Mommy and Daddy on their special date night that Daddy put together - (Date night means Gracie and Abby get to play with the babysitter... way cool!!!)

Abby, stop eating my crown!

Back off Gracie, I'm the princess!

OK, we can both be princesses!

We Match!!!

Here are a few shots of us wearing some matching clothes. Aren't we adorable!!!

Okay... the big news today..... drum roll please..... Abby is starting to walk. She can take nearly 8 steps before falling down and even as I type she is working really hard to take more. This is going to be so cool when she can walk and run cause we are going to be able to play together even more. She is really growing up big and so am I. I turn three really soon and I can not wait. I think when I am three I will ask mommy and daddy for my own car. If I can't get a car maybe I will just ask for another Barbie.

Speaking of Barbie... Granny and Aunt Alex came down a couple weeks ago for Abby's birthday party and surprised me with a whole bunch of Barbie dolls. I love them and play with them all the time. I have a special place for them and like to make sure they are all dressed up. I was so glad Granny and Aunt Alex came to see me. I had been so long and I really missed them.

Well, gotta go for now. Abby is walking and she needs a partner in crime. I hear the tupperware drawer calling.

Goodnight,
The Manchi and the Meatball.

Happy Birthday Abby (also a bit early!!)

Here are a couple pics from Abby's birthday pool party. It was a splash of a time. Abby and I got to play with 0ur cousins and some of our friends in the pool. Abby and I were not scared at all. We played in the water like we had fins and gills. We love the pool. Of course, this party was also a little early as Abby is not even one yet. Maybe when she really turns one mommy can make a cake for us to eat. Unfortunately the cake will not be near as nice as the one Heather made for her. Again, you can find more pictures at http://community.webshots.com/album/560148744HBHMvL?vhost=community. Hope you enjoy.

Gracie (I am writing for Abby until she learns how)

Thanks again Heather. These cakes are AWESOME!!!!

Happy Birthday Gracie (a bit early!!)

Well, I know it has been a while since I had my birthday party so I thought I would get some pictures on the blog. We had a fanterific time at O2B Kids in Jacksonville. We got to dance, play in the science lab, do gymnastics and eat cake. It was so much fun. I can not wait until next year when we can do it all over again. If you want to see more pictures of me at my birthday party, follow this link http://community.webshots.com/album/560148744HBHMvL?vhost=community... (it saves me from having to post a million pics!!!)

I will post some more pictures and tell you how things are in a few. Hope you enjoy.
