What was really cool about him coming home was that I got a couple days off of school. Daddy and I played all the time and I had a whole lot of fun. We went to the museum and had a blast playing on the toys. My favorite was the truck. We also went for walks and watered the flowers. I love to water the flowers cause I have a water thingy that is pink. I think pink is my new favorite color!!
Back to daddy being so proud of me. When he went to "work" five months ago I was only 18 months old and I was not doing some of the things I am doing now. For instance, I am pretty good at talking and getting mommy and daddy to understand me. I can tell a whole bunch of things I see when we are going for a drive and even tell them the color. I can read books with mommy and daddy and tell them all the stuff I see. I can eat at the table nicely and only make a little mess (although it is more fun to make a big mess). I can hold mommy and daddy's hand before each meal and pray (and I always say "amen"). I have almost learned to put on my own pants (or maybe that was just a fluke??). Just today, I held my friends hand at school and we danced (but I won't tell you about the tumble I took at the end). Running and walking are clearly no problem and they really haven't been for some time, but I most prefer to walk where ever I go rather than sit in the stroller. For the most part, I tend to behave when mommy and daddy let me, cause I know they will put me in the cart or stroller if I don't. Not to sound to proud, but I am rather well behaved. I understand when mommy and daddy are serious and I tend to respond
Okay, enough about me. Did you see the pictures of me below??? I know they are kinda random, but in all honesty, the parents have been a little slack in the picture taking department. This weekend we have a bunch of stuff planned so I will make sure they are on the ball.
So with that, I need to get some sleep so I am fully energized. I hope you all have a great Fourth of July weekend and I look forward to telling you all about mine.
Goodnight,
Gracie.

I am such a little girl. I think I am waiting on dad to take me to the museum

This is the one thing in the museum that I could not get enough of. In this picture, I am asking daddy to come sit next to me.

In this picture, you can see what my new fascination is!!! Between this and playing with the radio, I am in heaven.

Now if I could just get the flash to not be so bright.... Ah the life of a photographer

I think I will go to my roots and beat on the drum for a while.
