Okay, we are on day two with mommy being gone and I must admit that I miss her very much!! She called today and said she made it safely to Djibouti, so lets just pray she does not get malaria.
So, daddy and I goofed and forgot to set the clocks forward today, thus our not being at church. I tried to tell daddy that he needed to do it before he went to bed, but like normal he did not listen to me. Good grief!! So instead of going to church, we played. We played "who can crawl the fastest", how long can I stand before I fall" and my favorite "how far can I crawl right after I eat before I puke!!" . For any mommies out there reading this, daddy did a good job with me today. He fed me my favorite foods, hooked me up with the boppy, made sure I took two good naps and ensured I am ready for bed before seven. Great job dad.
So, any milestones recently. Hmmmm let me see.. well I did sit in the shopping cart for the first time today. And as always, I was the most popular baby in Walmart. As best as I can tell, daddy has forsaken cooking while mommy is gone. He loaded up on box dinners like there was no tomorrow. Hey as long as I get the boppy (and maybe some applesauce, I really could care less.)
Okay, I have to go to bed and daddy needs to eats some cardboard. I will write more tomorrow.
