My First Parade!!!

Wahooooooo!!! What a day!! At 7 months old, I have officially participated in my very first parade. Yipeeeeee!!! You see, this month is Military Appreciation Month at my school. Why only one month you ask?... ask the Air Force :o(. Anyway, it was awesome. Today I got to wear a yellow and green outfit and ride shotgun in our "float" for the parade. I was the queen bee, in charge of my float. Mommy and daddy came to watch me in my debut performance, it was so coooool!! We went all the way around the block, and speaking of block, thank goodness I was wearing some sun block. It was so hot outside and my leggies were exposed. Mommy was smart though and made sure I was wearing a hat (notice all the other kids, they had hot heads!!!). Anyway, I had a great time and I loved the fact that mommy and daddy watched me.

Speaking of mommy; she flew to Djibouti today and I am a little sad. Make sure you say prayers for her that she doesn't get some Djibouti disease or something.

Daddy and I played for a while tonight, but to be honest, I was pretty tired. I ended up just grabbing something to eat and I am about to call it a night. Nothing like a little boppy and carrots to really get you in the mood for some shut eye. Since I am writing this before I go to bed (wink wink), I should make a prediction (for mommy's sake) that I took a good bath and daddy made sure all 2000 parts (and folds) got clean. I drank my whole boppy and got dressed like a good girl. Even though I am tired, I still played in my bed for a while; I sure love that monkey!!!

So, as I have to go to bed (cause, really I am not there already) I should sign off. I have nothing planned tomorrow, so we will see what happens.

Goodnight all, sweet dreams.
(Mommy, I love you)
