Abby and I hope that is all going well for you. We have been doing great and are loving life. Looks like the cold of winter is behind us (mostly because mommy has taken the doors of the jeep and she has dared winter to rear it's ugly head!!! Unfortunately, I don't care for the doors to be off, regardless of the weather. Abby does like it and she and mommy are kindred spirits due to this mutual enjoyment.
So, we have had a busy couple months. Aunt Alex came down for a whole week and we had a blast. Again, in an effort to force summer in, we made several trips to the beach and played in the pool. If I was completely honest, I would say it was just a bit too chilly for such adventures, but please do not tell my mom. She is convinced the weather is perfect. We also went out for dinner when she was here to celebrate mommy's birthday. We had so much fun!!!
I had a dance competition a few weeks ago, and despite my lack of love for the shirt I had to wear, I ended up having a great time. I will make sure a video of my moves are posted on the blog. What was most cool about the dance was that daddy was able to come home for that weekend. I am not certain, but I think I saw a tear or two in his eyes when I walked back from the dance. I tell him that it was nothing, but he seems to be overly proud of me. I will see if I can get that to translate into something tangible, like clothes and shoes.
Abby is doing great. She has become quite the artist. Every day, she probably comes home with tons of pictures her and her friend , Ava, make. Her favorite thing to draw is rainbows. But lately she like to draw the family and is really doing a great job. Abby is probably the best sister in the world. She thinks that I am amazing and how can I argue with that?
Okay, there is not much else to say. We are counting down the days before going to Hawaii and can't wait to see the ocean over there. Wish us luck, rather say a prayer that we can get into the school we applied to. Supposedly there is alot of competition.
