Easter Morning

I told you I would send you a couple pictures of me and Abby on Easter morning. Daddy had a bit of a time getting both of us to cooperate at the same time so what you see is what you get. In my opinion, what you see are a couple pretty adorable kids who love to get our picture taken.

I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. I learned (a couple times) about how Easter is not about the candy and the eggs and the bunny (although I got this lesson as mommy and daddy were giving me an Easter basket!! :o). Anyway, I think it is so great that Jesus lived on this planet and then because He loved me before I was born He chose to die on a cross so that I would not have to pay the ultimate price for all the sinning I am likely to do as I grow up. What is really even more cool is that three days after He died on the cross, He rose from the dead, left His tomb and walked on the earth proving to even the biggest doubter the He is God. WOW!!! Daddy says that jesus love me more than daddy and mommy does. If that is so, then it makes me very happy to know that.

Well, I am glad we got to celebrate Easter and get all dressed up in our pink dresses. I also love the fact that I got candy.... Yummy!!!
