Oh Mommy, Where Are You!!!

Hello everyone!!! Gracie here,

Well, it has been four days since my mommy went to Africa and left me here with dad alone, AGAIN!!! I really would have thought that heart to heart I had with mommy when she did this to me last time was enough, but alas I was wrong. It is just me a daddy and it is a wonder I am making it. You could say I am a little malnourished and dirtier than I should be right now. Nothing compares to the way mommy takes care of me verses my daddy. Don't get me wrong, we are having a good time... but at a price.

This last weekend daddy and I went to the zoo where I got to see a bunch of those animals that are in my book. I don't know how they got there and back to my book so quickly, but it was amazing. I saw a rhino and giraffe and zebra and snake and bear and alligator and monkey and a whole bunch other animals. My favorite was the camel, but daddy being the animal lover he is did not let me get very close, like the other kids who were getting rides on the camel. Nagdabbit!!!

When we got home I took a much needed nap while daddy watched football. I was so excited to get up and watch football with him, mind you all the good luck we could muster didn't help the ole Noles. Nagdabbit!!!

On Sunday I went to church with daddy and got to play with Sally while he listened to the preacher. I had a great time and Sally and I are great friends now, she is cool. On Sunday night, I got to ride in my wagon after I took a nap. That was really cool.

Finally, today I went back to school and I couldn't wait. Finally I was going to get some real food and intelligent people to hang out with. Nothing against my daddy, but he ain't all there!!! I played with my friends today and loved it. Tomorrow is picture day I and I have the perfect outfit picked out.

So, I really miss my mommy. Every night she does her checks in the house and does a final check on me. She is so good at taking care of me and I miss her holding me. I attached a picture of me almost asleep (I had daddy take it for me) so that she could remember doing her checks at night. I know that daddy does the checks as well, but mommy does them better.

Okay, I have to go to sleep so I can have enough energy to play with my friends tomorrow. Oh yeah, we got an invitation to my friend Kennedy's birthday party. I can not wait.

After a long day... it is time to relax!!

See mommy, I am sorda eating okay. (I think this is chicken and rice, but with daddy's cooking, you never know!!)

Now this is what I am talking about!!! A little something to drink... in my pajamas and in what I call the "Daddy Position"
