Last weekend, okay two weekends ago I went to Olivia's house for a awesome birthday party. There were so many people there that I didn't get a chance to meet them all. Anyway, there were lots of little kids there and they were walking and running and having so much fun. I was watching them a whole bunch and figured out that it can not be that hard. So I determined in my brain I was going to walk. Well because I found Livi's wagon at the party, I decided to put my plans on hold.
So I got home from my fabulous weekend and went to school on Monday. My teachers said that I tried really hard all day to walk without holding onto something, but I was not quite there. That night, mommy let me where my new pj's that Sherri gave and I do believe they gave me all the Manchi power I needed. I slept so comfortably that night allowing me to be very refreshed the next day at school. This time, when mommy and daddy got the report of my misadventures, they were informed of my independent travels around the room. That night I proved myself and took many unassisted steps. By the next day I was going all the way across the house with no hands, just feet. AWESOME!!!!!! Today, I am a walker. I prefer that mode of transportation over crawling. Sometimes I forget that I am so advanced and crawl a little before getting on my feet. I am so happy. Daddy even more so, he couldn't help but show me how to put gas in the lawnmower today. Give me a couple more years dad!!!
Let's see, other than walking what else is there to report. I am getting more vocal these days. I like to hold my hand to my ear and say HI! If I see a kitty cat in a book I like to kiss it. Every animal outside is a doggy (or a daddy, I am not sure). I have almost figured out the spoon, but may wait a bit before I let my parents in on that as I love to eat with my hands. I think I told you, but tooth count is at nine.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Last weekend I went to the coolest place in the world. It is called Big Cat Rescue and I got to see lions and tigers and all kinds of kitty cats. I was so happy. Mommy would not let me pet them cause most of them hat teeth bigger than my legs. But it was so cool. Here is the website if you ever want to go. http://www.bigcatrescue.org/
Okay, well I have to go to bed. I need to get some good rest tonight. I think some sniffles are headed my way.
Until the next time. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
Gracie
