So, what have I been up to. The biggest thing is that my Aunt Alex was down for three whole weeks. She came down to go to some camp and hang out with my mommy. It was a lot of fun having her here, and I already really miss her. She and I got to play so much. I can not wait until I see her again. She is starting school in Connecticut pretty soon, so I imagine it will be some time. While Aunt Alex was down, mommy and daddy took some time off of work to hang out with her, and get some much need projects done around the house. First, they had some work done in their bathroom and I only mention this because the took over my bathroom. You have to understand, I like a very simple bathroom with little in the way of hair products, make-up and all that junk they put in and on their body. Well for the last couple weeks, I have had to deal with their mess and I, quite honestly, am sick of it. I hear that they are moving back into theirs tonight... thank goodness. The other project they did was to tile the patio. It was nice that he rushed to get this done for the party, because there was so many people here that we got to hang out there and it was really nice. I managed to sneak a picture of it on the end of this blog.
So, the biggest thing was my birthday party. I know, it was a month early, but because my mommy was unsure of some travel plans, we chose last weekend to have all my friends over for some cake and ice cream. It was SOOOO cool. My friends from Jacksonville came, Kennedy, Olivia and Heath (he is the one with the funny glasses on). My cousins from Jacksonville came, Lark, Lexy and Rory. My friend, Sydney, from next door came. My friends from church, Sarah and Kathrine also came. As well, a whole bunch of my mommy and daddy's friends came over, making this house really full of people. It was so neat. I loved having all those people here just for me. What I loved most was all the cool toys I got. I got everything from a neat pillow my Aunt made to some really cool outfits that I will be sure to get really dirty. One of my favorite things I got though was my own red wagon. I totally love going outside, and now with this, mommy and daddy can take me on walks and I can play with my toys. Way cool.
Of course, no party is complete without the eating of the cake. I made everyone proud and wore as much of the cake as I ate. But I really figured out why mommy and daddy gave me cake near the end of the party. Let's put it this way, I learned what coming down from a sugar high does to a baby. And for several hours, I enjoyed the throws of nappy time. Ahhhhhhhh.....
Anyway, I had a great time and now things are calmed down. I hope you enjoy my pictures of the party. If you click on the "pictures of me" link on the right, you will find more party pics. I only picked some of my favorite.
So, I hope that I am able to get on the computer more in the next couple weeks and share how things are going. But until then I will blow you a kiss (which I am very good at now) and wish you a good night. I must get to bed.
